Speakers

Joseph White, PhD

Field Application Scientist, MaxCyte, Inc.

Joseph is a field application scientist for MaxCyte dedicated to the southern New England and New York region with over 12 years of cell culture experience. He earned his PhD in biological sciences from the University at Buffalo and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Duke University, where he researched neurodegeneration using iPSC-derived cells and animal models. Prior to working at MaxCyte, Joseph served as a senior scientist at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where he led new product innovation for bioproduction and cell/gene therapy workflows. Based in Buffalo, NY, Joseph is passionate about the Bills and, more importantly, aiding in the advancement of therapeutic research from lab to clinic.

Jess Keeley

Strategic Business Manager, MaxCyte, Inc.

Jess holds a degree in biology from the University of Pittsburgh and has built a robust career in biotechnology. With roles at companies such as Thermo Fisher, Biotage and MaxCyte, he has extensively supported both industry and academic research labs in their cell therapy, gene therapy and drug discovery workflows. Currently, Jess serves as the strategic business manager for MaxCyte, overseeing the Northeastern US.
