Aaron Havas, PhD.

Field Applications Scientist, MaxCyte, Inc.

Aaron Havas, PhD is the Field Application Scientist for the Southwest region at MaxCyte, supporting customers across cell and gene therapy, protein production, and genomic off-target solutions for cell therapy applications. Prior to joining MaxCyte, Aaron conducted research at the Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute, where he focused on aging and cancer biology utilizing a broad range of therapeutic and genome editing approaches. Aaron brings hands-on scientific expertise and a deep understanding of the workflows and challenges facing researchers and developers in the cell and gene therapy space.

Brian LaPutka

Business Development Manager, Southwest, MaxCyte, Inc.

Brian LaPutka is the Business Development Manager for MaxCyte's Southwest region. Brian received his degree from San Diego State in Biology. Brian is a proven partner in supporting organizations in both academic and industry settings from research to commercialization, connecting scientists, manufacturing, and regulatory professionals to achieve their goals. You may know him from previously covering the Southwest for Twist Bioscience and Eppendorf.
