About the seminar

Are you involved in cell engineering research and eager to bring a robust gene editing tool into your lab?  We invite you to an informative seminar on Scalable Cell Engineering from 12:00 to 1:30pm (PST) hosted by MaxCyte and Aldevron.

In addition to an introduction to MaxCyte and Aldevron's platforms, our guest speakers will share their CRISPR-based research findings enabled by MaxCyte. Register to learn more about how academic & industry labs utilize MaxCyte & Aldevron’s enabling technologies to efficiently engineer primary cells, stem cells, and cell lines all while maintaining high cell viabilities & recovery.

UCSF in the Gilbert Lab

As an undergraduate at Harvard University, Juhee double majored in Biomedical Engineering and Integrative Biology. She is currently a Staff Research Associate at UCSF in the Gilbert Lab where she uses new CRISPR approaches to study cell fate decisions in multicellular human iPSC models using multiomics across space and time.

 

Katie Lin

Research Associate
UCSF Brain Tumor Center

Katie completed her bachelor's degrees in Molecular & Cell Biology and Public Health at UC Berkeley. She is currently a Research Associate working with Dr. Mitchel Berger and Dr. John Liu at UCSF’s Brain Tumor Center. She employs CRISPR-based epigenetic methods to induce treatment sensitivity in resistant glioblastoma.

As a dedicated and enthusiastic professional, with over a decade of experience in the Cell and Gene Therapy industry, Haylee is a Senior Account Manager for Aldevron and has been instrumental in supporting research endeavors through to commercial production for clients across the Pacific Northwest and South San Francisco regions. With more than 10 years of hands-on experience possessing in-depth knowledge of the Cell and Gene Therapy landscape, Haylee is truly passionate about the field of Cell and Gene Therapy and supporting innovative solutions in the field.

 

Lucy Yang

Field Application Scientist
MaxCyte, Inc.

After completing her Bachelor’s in Bioengineering at MIT, Lucy finished her PhD in Bioengineering at the University of Washington last year. Her research expertise includes drug delivery, DNA aptamers and chemistry, CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing, and polymer chemistry. Based in Seattle, Lucy currently supports our collaborators throughout the Pacific Northwest and the Bay area.
